Det är december. Snö och granris. Julsånger och julfrid. Tiden för julklappstankar och nyårslöften. Eller kanske båda delarna i ett enda paket. Ett alldeles sådant, fyllt med utbildning, utveckling och spännande tankeutbyten. En anmälan till den 3:e Internationella konferensen i Bowens systemteori, Bowen2020 ger dig allt det du önskar!
Just nu har vi det som allra mörkast här i Skandinavien. Utomhus är det mörker, kyla och snö. Inomhus värmer brasan och ljusen skapar hemtrevnad. För mig är det här den tid då jag funderar över året som kommer. Vad vill jag? Vad ser jag fram emot. I år ser jag fram emot sommaren med både ängslan och glädje.
Temat ”Managing Relations in a Changing World – Bowen Theory in Organizations, Families and Communities
Under ett och ett halvt år har vi i en arbetsgrupp planerat och jobbat för den 3:e internationella konferensen inom Bowens systemteori. Senast gick den av stapeln i maj 2018 och då i Hongkong. Nu blir Bowen2020 en spännande motsats. I Sörbyn i Norrbotten ”Swedish Lapland” är det inte direkt samma trängsel och stadsmiljö som i Hongkong. Istället blir det en upplevelse av den magiska naturen i Råne älvdal. Mitt i ljusaste sommaren kommer deltagare från hela välden att samlas för att under tre dagar lyssna på föredrag, träffas och umgås.
Eftersom jag själv ska presentera mitt arbete om Bowen som ett bra och begripligt verktyg för stressade organisationer så finns det också en hel del förväntan med. Genom att dela erfarenheter lär vi av varandra. Det är så det så jag och alla som som arbetar med Bowens systemteori utvecklas. Därför är min egen ängslan en del av förväntan. Då känns 6 månader inte alls så långt borta!
Bowen2020 har temat ”Managing Relations in a Changing World – Bowen Theory in Organizations, Families and Communities”. För sådan är bredden i Bowens systemteori. Det är en teori för människors samspel. En metod att förstå organisationer, familjer och samhälle. Vi beter oss ungefär likadant oavsett om vi är hemma eller på jobbet. Att förstå att vi fungerar i emotionella system. Hur vi påverkar varandra och reagerar på varandra är grunden i systemteorin. Under tre dagar med Bowen2020, 15 – 17 juni, kommer deltagare från hela världen att mötas där i vackra Sörbyn i Råne älvdal. Vi kommer att diskutera, lyssna på många korta seminarier och umgås i midnattssolens land.

Christmas Gift, New Year Resolutions and a participation in Bowen2020
It is December. Snow and the scent of pine. Christmas carols and peacefulness. A time for Christmas thoughts and New Year Resolutions. Or perhaps both in a package of its own. A very special package filled with education, development and exciting exchanges of thoughts. A decision to participate in the 3rd international Bowen Conference will give you all you wish for.
Right now it is at its darkest here in Scandinavia. Outside it is dark more often than not, it is cold with plenty of snow. But indoors the fireplace and candle lights create a feeling of cozy comfort. This is when I will sit down and ponder over the year to come. What do I want? What am I looking forward to? This year I am anticipating the summer with both anxiousness and joy.
Theme Managing Relations in a Changing World – Bowen Theory in Organizations, Families and Communities”
During the last year and a half our work group has planned and worked for the 3rd International Bowen Conference, Bowen2020. It was last held in May 2018 in Hong Kong. Now the Bowen2020 will be an interesting different experience. In Sörbyn, Swedish Lapland we will be far away from the crowded city life of Hong Kong. Instead it will be an experience in the magnificent nature of Råne river valley. In the midst of the summer light participants from all over the world will gather. For three days we will listen to seminars, meet and mingle.
As I will be presenting my own work with Bowen Theory as a good and understandable tool for anxious organizations, I have a lot of anticipation of my own. By sharing our experiences we learn from each other. That is how I and many others working with Bowen Theory keep on developing. That makes my own anticipation a blend with anxiety. Then six months do not feel so very far away!
Bowen2020 has the theme”Managing Relations in a Changing World – Bowen Theory in Organizations, Families and Communities”. Such is the broadness in Bowen Theory. It is a theory about the interplay between people. It is a method to understand organizations, families and society. We basically behave the same if we are at home or at work. To understand how we interact in emotional systems, how we affect each other and react is the basis of the Bowen theory. During the three days of Bowen2020, June 15 – 17, participants from all over the World will meet in the Råne river valley. We will discuss, listen to many short seminars and mingle in land of the Midnight sun.
